5. What kind of soil/mulch/sand/gravel/granite should I use?

Different products perform differently and are best suited to a variety of uses. See the description under each product to see its uses. If you require additional information or help, please do not hesitate to contact us.

6. What mulch is best for my garden?

When considering what mulch is best for your garden you need to consider how windy the area is and if you want moisture to be retained. The smaller mulches are more likely to blow away in the wind, but hold the moisture best. The larger mulches are less likely to blow away, and water drains through quickly.

7. What ratio is the sand and gravel mix?

40% sand to 60% gravel

8. Is green waste a free service?

Green waste less than 200m diameter and 2m is length is free. Green waste over these measurements must firstly proceed to the weighbridge.

9. How much is oversized greenwaste per ton and what dimensions? Do minimum charges apply?

Green waste exceeding 200mm in diameter and/or 2m in length is considered oversized. Oversized Green waste must proceed to the weighbridge. Charges are $119.00 per tonne (minimum charge is ½ tonne.

10. What is allowed at green waste?

Green waste refers to grass clippings, garden prunings, leaf litter and weeds. This excludes soil, treated timber, plastic, food and all other contaminates. Any persons found to be breaching the conditions of drop off will be banned from the facility.

11. Is there minimum charges on your products?

The minimum charge on products is 200kgs. This excludes mulches. The minimum charge for mulch is ½ m3.

12. How long is delivery time from ordering?

To ensure the best chance of getting your delivery at the time you would like we suggest giving 3 days’ notice.

13. Do we accept bamboo and flax?

Our Green waste facility does accept bamboo and flax.

14. What other products do you take?

15. Do you have eftpos facilities?

We have eftpos facilities at all our depots, however our delivery drivers do not carry an eftpos machine with them. Deliveries can be paid by card over the phone or cash on delivery.
